Have a wonderful, restful weekend and I'll see you back here on Monday!
It's been a long, emotional week for me and I am so happy that Friday is finally here. I can kick back, put my flippers up, and simply watch the world go by. That's not to say that I have nothing to do. I can always find projects to work on...either writing projects or tidying up around the lily pad. But this week-end, I'm putting all the chores aside. They'll still be there come Monday. This will be my "calm before the storm," so-to-croak. With the holidays just around the corner, I'll have plenty to do over the next month or so and I will, no doubt, have no time for rest and relaxation. The weather is beautiful, too; sunny and unusually warm, with a cloudless sky above. It's good to be alive! I've got books to read, bugs to munch on, and I'm turning off my cell phone. No worries. No cares. It's me time...and I really need it. I like to treat myself to an "unplugged' weekend every now and again. It recharges my batteries. And we all need that. I hope that whatever your plans are on this last weekend before the holiday rush, you'll take time for R and R; take a bubble bath, go for a leisurely walk, catch up on your reading...anything that helps you to feel peaceful. And try to shut off the phone and computer...even if it's only for a couple of hours. The world will still be here when you turn it back on.
Have a wonderful, restful weekend and I'll see you back here on Monday!
