See you all on Monday!
Friday is here and I've started making my plans for the weekend. The Christmas season is in full swing and it's the perfect time to go and check out the holiday decorations in Land of Lily Pad. Nearly every home is decorated with lights and candy canes and the Christmas tree in the town square is a site to behold. The tree is topped with a large and glorious angel frog. The decorations are all hand-made by the froglests, which makes them even more special. Saturday evening, Santa Frog arrives. The kids have eagerly awaited his arrival since this time last year and little brother, Quigley, has his wish list ready for the joly ol' elf frog. He's been begging me for days to take him to see Santa so can can deliver it in person. Quigley, Jr. has never entrusted this most important document to the LPMS (Lily Pad Mail Serice). It doesn't ever get cold enough back home to freeze, but every December one secion of the swamp is frozen over to form a wonder ice skating rink. After visiting with Santa, we'll head over and spend some time skating with our friends. The Lily Pad Choir serenades the crowd, every Saturday night in December, with beloved froggie Christmas carols. And when we're tired and chilled right down to our flippers, we'll happily head home where mom will have big glasses of frognog waiting, along with steaming mugs of mulled swamp water, and peppermint-coated ants. I'm so excited! This is such an awesome time of year with so many different kinds of celebratory events to take part in. I certainly hope that you have planned some quality Christmas time wih your family, this weekend. Whatever your plans, keep warm and enjoy this magical time of year. It'll soon be gone.
See you all on Monday!
