They give generously of their time and resources in the pursuit of making others happy. Today is Making Life Beautiful Day and it's a day set aside each year to honor these unselfish people and beautiful humans.
It is human nature (and many frogs, as well) to make life as pleasant as possible for ourselves and for our families and friends. But when someone goes out of their way to make the life of another more beautiful, that act becomes even more beautiful. Whether that act is picking flowers in your garden and taking the bouquet to an elderly neighbor or to a stranger in the hospital or something far more costly, that is a beautiful act of selflessness. We've all heard the old saying that true beauty is what lies on the inside of us. And today is a celebration of all those people whose inner beauty is beyond compare.
