The environment has always been a concern to me. As a frog, my very life depends on what happens to our planet. (It kinda does for humans, too.) So, the idea came to me, to write a fun and educational book on environmental stewardship for kids, so they could learn how to help future generations of humans, and animals, have a healthier world to live in. And that's how Green Is Good came to be.
I wanted to help my friends at My Little Python raise awareness about snakes and how much fun they can be to have as pets. Together, the Pythons and I co-wrote What About Snakes? and all the profits go to benefit ASP. Pretty cool, right?
When I was a tadpole, I spent a lot of time pretending I was a cowboy in the Old West. Dad heard about a place in Texas that had an authentic replica of a Pioneer Town. I decided to go and visit. My father had never been on an airplane before so I invited him to come along. He agreed to join me and we had an awesome time. When we got back home, my baby brother wanted to know all about our trip. As I showed him the photos and told him all we'd learned about the early settlers, it occurred to me that other kids might want to know this stuff, too, so I wrote Irwin Quagmire Wart Travels Back in Time. And that's how all my books (so far) have come to be!
