I like to keep bus. I am usually working on several projects at once. I guess that's because I have a very active imagination and I'm always thinging about something new I want to write. Instead of jotting down the idea for later, like the experts tell you to do, I end up actually starting the project. If I just write down the idea, then I forget about it. If I start to work on it, then it's on my computer and I am far more apt to continue with it...or throw it out, if I find the idea isn't working. Like now, I am working on a project with my friend Susan Newman at Frogs are Green.org. We're collaborating on a book about frogs (my favorite subject and one I know a little something about). In addition to working on that, I recently finished a book called Twig Toad's Terrible Trouble and I am searching for just the right illustrator. The Twig book will be my first read-along book for younger kids. And if that weren't enough, my bookstore still needs to be completed and I am hopeful that it will be up and running by the end of this month. Whew! Well, it's time for me to get back to work. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to "see you" again, soon.
